Finally, a head shot!

At our 20 week appointment, Baby B was not very cooperative so we got to go back a few weeks later.  When the appointment started out, he was face down and facing backwards again.  We thought we were going to have to come back, but after I got up and moved around he decided he would turn around for us.  The sonogram tech was able to see his sweet little face and measure his brain, eyes, nose and lips, and all looked great!  Here are some of the pics we got.
Look at those sweet little lips - I can't wait to kiss them!
In this picture, Baby B was kicked back, legs stretched out and arm overhead.  A lot like how his Daddy likes to relax on the couch!

Doctor Visit at 20 Weeks

The appointment set up at 20 weeks is one of the most important, as the doctor checks to make sure that everything is developing correctly.  However, Baby B was not in the mood to have pictures taken.  Since I have started feeling him move, it seemed that he had been sitting very low.  Well come to find out, he has found a spot very low where he decided to hide his face during the appointment.  The sonographer was able to see everything from the neck down very clearly, so we know that the heart is developing correctly and that he is definitely a boy.  Unfortunately, the face and brain were not clear enough to see so we have to go back in two weeks.  He did give us a few peeks, but not long enough for everything to be measured.  Lucky for us, we will get to have another sonogram to see him that we otherwise wouldn't get :)  Here are the few pictures that we were able to capture.

This is a picture of his sweet face.  He is laying on his left side looking at the camera.  His hand is next to his cheek at the top.  Isn't that the cutest face you've ever seen?
Here is a picture of his spine.  This is what we saw most of the appointment since he was facing backwards.
And here is his big foot.  I think this was my favorite picture of the day!

On March 29th, hopefully we will get some better shots of our little man!
